Lost Passport / Travel Document

What you must do:

• Report immediately to the Enforcement Division, Immigration Department of Malaysia;
• Do not use middlemen or agents;
• Bring the items on the checklist;
• Cooperate during the investigation and the statement taken by the Immigration Officer.

Checklist for lost-passport cases in Malaysia

Please bring the originals and copies of the following:

• Number / copy of the passport or travel document;
• New passport / travel document;
• Police report (lost passport);
• Plane / bus / ferry ticket (within 7 days).

Additional requirements:

• Any proof of entry (landing pass / ticket);
• Any proof of entry (passenger list);
• Certificate from the Embassy;
• Copy of the previous pass / document (if any);
• Reference MEMO from BPA / BPP / VPP / MIDA (if relevant).

Fee: Special Pass: RM100.00
