Important notice
ENFORCEMENT
What you must do:
- Report immediately to the Enforcement Division, Immigration Department of Malaysia;
- Do not use middlemen or agents;
- Bring the items on the checklist;
- Cooperate during the investigation and the statement taken by the Immigration Officer.
Checklist for lost-passport cases in Malaysia
Please bring the originals and copies of the following:
- Number / copy of the passport or travel document;
- New passport / travel document;
- Police report (lost passport);
- Plane / bus / ferry ticket (within 7 days).
Additional requirements:
- Any proof of entry (landing pass / ticket);
- Any proof of entry (passenger list);
- Certificate from the Embassy;
- Copy of the previous pass / document (if any);
- Reference MEMO from BPA / BPP / VPP / MIDA (if relevant).
Fee: Special Pass: RM100.00
Notes: BPA – Foreign Workers Division; BPP – Student Pass Division; VPP – Visa, Pass and Permit Division (all Immigration Department of Malaysia); MIDA – Malaysian Investment Development Authority.
