W3C: Access for persons with disabilities

The portal of the Immigration Department of Malaysia provides facilities for access by persons with disabilities (OKU).

A. Users with glare sensitivity

For users with glare sensitivity, several colour options are provided in the accessibility tools on every page of the portal. Users can choose the contrast from the colours offered: dark, medium and light.

The colours of the portal’s page template change immediately once a choice is made.

B. Older users

For older users, the portal provides different text size options (W3C).

The text size options are shown at the top of every page of the portal. Users can choose a larger or smaller text size as suits them.
